The
yellow buildings of Medical University of Silesia are situated in the neighborhood
of Independent Public
Central Hospital of Medical University of Silesia and Child’s and
Mother’s Center of Health.
Department
of Medicine Theory is divided into three parts C1, C2, and C3.
Chair and
Department of Medical Biophysics is placed on the second floor in
segment C2.
One
can take a lift (an elevator) which is easy to be found on the ground
floor by the side of the entrance C2.
You
can also go on foot upstairs.

a) by bus:

Bus
station in Katowice is situated in front of the Main
Railway Station
(main
entrance).
Direction
of riding : student hostel Ligota (akademiki)
b) by train:
Go to the railway station Katowice-
Ligota (www.pkp.pl).
Then take bus or taxi or go on foot (about 20 minutes)
to Medical University of Silesia

c) by car:
In Gen. J.Ziętek Traffic Circle (Rondo im. gen. J. Ziętka) turn
in W. Korfantego Boulevard
(Aleja W. Korfantego).
From
W. Korfantego Boulevard go to A.
Mickiewicza Street (ul. A. Mickierwicza) and at the crossroad
with
Sokolska Street turn left. Then go to Traffic Circle at the Freedom
Square (rondo na Placu Wolności).
From
Freedom Square go to Judicial Street (ul. Sądowa) and next
turn left under railroad overpass on Mikołowska Street
(ul. Mikołowska).
Go
along Mikołowska Street until you reach National Way No. 93 (droga krajowa
nr 93) and go to the crossroad with Ligocka
street (ul.Ligocka). Then turn right to Ligocka Street.
Go
along Ligocka Street to crossroad with Panewnicka Street (ul.
Panewnicka).
From
Panewnicka Street turn left to Medyków
Street (ul. Medyków). Go along Medyków Street about 400 meters and you
reach Medical
University of Silesia (by right side).
